A little about me

Having worked within the industry for over 30yrs, I have developed a wide range of skills, both in management and cooking, kitchen bookwork, costing’s, menu planning and development, Haccp, and working within a team environment.
I’ve a background in Hotels / Resorts, Restaurants, Private member clubs in and around Auckland, New Zealand. Then traveling to London / UK and working in hotels for 3 yrs, and traveling on to Paris where I worked in gastro pub’s, and opened @ the time one of Paris’s biggest gastro pubs at Bercy in Paris. Returning to London I came across Contract Catering. I enjoy the hrs and work variety from staff dining, café’s and hospitality kitchens, but most of all I enjoy managing my own unit. In between my career I’ve also worked as a freelance chef for hospitality agency’s which I also enjoy as it gives you the freedom to experience many different company contracts / styles and to work as and when you like, within teams of chefs for different company’s/ contractors. And to bring some of these styles/ idea’s to the present position.
I am currently a Chef Manager of hospitality, at an accountant firm in the city where I’ve been the past 2yrs.
I am currently seeking a new challenge.

Before this position I was on the Lexington relief team. (I Left Lexington catering due to illness reasons)
