We are a family run independent contract caterer with a strong focus on locally sourced, Fresh British produce. Our menus change with the seasons, demonstrating our artistic flare and originality, innovation is key to our success. We are a growing business and would like you to be involved in our future.

Salary circa 25k-28k


Hours as required: normal trading hours 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday


Our Successful applicant will:



  •  Have experience of working at a high level, preferably within a recognised well respected establishment.

  •  Have a high level of communication skills. 

  •  Enjoy working in a team and motivating others to achieve. 

  •  Take ownership and responsibility for the role.  

  •  Disciplined, organised and able to multi task and delegate effectively.  

  •  Computer Literate ( email, spread sheets, and word processing ) 

  •  A great chef, possess an excellent knowledge of fresh food and cooking techniques.  

  •  Be flexible and prepared to do whatever is required business dictating. 

  •   Hands on producing iconic meals, an exemplar to others in the team, and responsible for the quality of meals  produced by the team. 

  •  Day to day management of the kitchen operation, team leader, team player. 

  •  Ensuring good quality and presentation to delight our guests, including dealing calmly and effectively with workload  peaks, maintaining quality whatever the challenges. 

  •  Ensuring the best use of seasonal products sourced locally where possible. 

  •  Develop new and creative menus for all our catering concepts working closely with the MD.  

  •  Financial management of the kitchen budgets to include Labour, stock, purchasing, waste, menu costs and staff  training. 

  •  Complete the required company records on time, developing and implementing standard operating procedures to  ensure the catering unit runs smoothly.  

  •  Ensure all company policy and procedures are adhered by the team. 

  •  Ensure all Health and safety procedures are applied and all staff trained to the necessary Legal and best practice  requirements 


 


 KPI reviews for all staff every 6 months with clear objectives and any training logged on their training record. Training plan to be implemented and action.
