Local family run pub/restaurant looking for a passionate head chef that takes pride in bringing the best out of local produce, and creating seasonal vibrant menus.

Job role position for head chef
We are looking for a experienced head or sous chef to fill our role that will involve working with the owners of the business to maintain the fantastic standards that they have set over the last 2 years, and to grow and expand with the current business plan.
You must be dedicated and passionate, and be ready to put your own stamp on a vibrant and seasonal menu. Be able to liaise with the owners, understand and help achieve vision of the establishment, using local fresh ingredients, and to develop and maintain good working relationships with local suppliers, whilst achieving and improving profit margins, whilst not compromising on the overall dish.
Full support is given throughout, with a fantastic team to work with. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and knowledge of local seasonal produce, and to develop your skills and creativity from sourcing to preparation to presentation. Experienced of working under pressure and holding it together is a must for this position, together with holding a Level 2 certificate in Food Standards or higher, and have at least 3 years working experience.
The ability to communicate with management, local suppliers and customers in a positive and enthusiastic way is a must.

We work closely with staff in developing ideas.
