Head Chef Job

Our business is going "gastro" with fantastic food, real ales and brilliant staff. We are a company that is going places, with exciting plans. We believe in local producers and are proud of the food that we serve. This is currently our first of many future site?s around Derbyshire and the North west. We are looking to recruit talented, passionate Chef's for The Cock Pub & Kitchen. We want our Chef's to be big on personality with exceptionally high standards. We are looking for Chef's with previous experience who are passionate about food. We need Chef's not "microwave operatives" as our food is fresh! The Cock Pub & Kitchen is a exciting 'new-ish' concept and we are looking for a strong team of chefs to work along side our talented team. We are looking at taking a traditional British pub menu and bringing it to our tables with modern and European twists, making dishes locally sourced to the area, and unusual with beautiful presentation. If the sounds of this new venture excites you and you would like to be part of a original and enthusiastic team please forward your CV

Having changed ownership March 2014 The Cock Pub and Kitchen has undergone extensive refurbishment both externally and internally with a recent Kitchen refit Dec14.

With an emphasis on traditional British Public House, The new family owners have creating a warm relaxed environment with a British based menu format.

With a food Lead offering and real cask ales, the businesses attracts local villagers, professionals, families and tourists to the picturesque village of Whaley Bridge.

After their first successful Christmas 2014, they now have high prospects for 2015 with huge plans to continue developing the land around the premises and over the next few years they have plans to provide Bed & breakfast facilities.

Since the Kitchen refurbishment they now seek to develop their menu offering further, putting the business (with little local competition) on the map.
