PUBLISHER means Chef Site
The term “ADVERTISER” refers to the party who is booking or placing the advertising space and who is responsible for payment or advert feature.

  

The start and end date of an advertising campaign will be agreed by THE Advertiser and the PUBLISHER unless The Advertiser logs in and makes an website account and payment online.

All Business, recruitment, Adverts & Advertisements  submitted by an " Advertiser " supplied or placed on Chef Site Website by THE Advertiser will be subject to THE PUBLISHER’s approval, which will not be unreasonably withheld; they must also be identifiable as an advertisement and not seem to resemble editorial material; you grant that they may be edited without notice by THE PUBLISHER for any reason but will mainly be for SEO, content and /or reading purposes.

Advertisements must conform to the BACP Advertising Policy and the British Code of Advertising Practice and must accurately portray the product and/or service being advertised.

If you are unable to upload your own artwork, it can be submitted by email to info@chefsite.com

Please note if sending Quark files all images and fonts must be supplied separately.

Any reproduction work, setting, pasting, sizing or amendments will carry an additional charge of £40.

All assertions made in your advertisements must be true, accurate and capable of being maintained by appropriate evidence and be made available to the publisher upon request.

Any publication of an advertisement by the publisher does not constitute endorsement of the advertiser, its products or services.

All space reserved by an advertiser must be paid in full upon request, where the advertisement is not published due to an act and/or omission by the advertiser.

THE PUBLISHER reserves the right to increase advertisement rates at any time or to modify the terms and conditions at any time.

THE PUBLISHER will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by amendment, error, late publication or non-publication from any cause whatsoever.

THE PUBLISHER will not accept liability for any error on the part of third parties and/or inaccurate copy instructions.

THE PUBLISHER reserves the right to publish the most appropriate copy should copy instructions not be received by the stipulated time.

If an Advertisement is supplied which does not comply with these terms and conditions or THE PUBLISHER receives complaint regarding an Advertisement, THE PUBLISHER may, at its discretion, remove the Advertisement from display without reference or liability to The Advertiser.

The Advertiser is fully responsible for any wording, copyright, editing and content of their advertisement and The advertiser will indemnify THE PUBLISHER  ( Chef Site ) from and against any claims or liability arising from its content or links contained in an Advertisement.

You agree you have read the entire client terms and conditions especially " Purchasing " under our general terms .

THE PUBLISHER accepts no liability whatsoever therewith and you indemnify THE PUBLISHER ( chef site limited) of any claim whatsoever,

Artwork must be supplied as an electronic file in QuarkXPress (Mac), Microsoft Word, Photoshop, PDF (minimum dpi 300, maximum 600 dpi).eps, .tif on a zip disk/CD or by email. Alternatively you can post camera-ready copy (good quality laser-print).

Video & Articules - Sponsors, Chefs & Suppliers,

All feature sponsorships are for a minimum term of 12 months, unless identified in writing otherwise. 

All feature sponsorships will automatically renew after 12 months (on their anniversary date)

Should either party wish to give notice on the feature sponsorship the cancellation policy detailed in “Cancellation ”section of these terms and conditions must be followed.

Sponsored content, including but not exclusive to featured chef, Workplace event, Supplier article and videos, cannot be seen as a Chef Site endorsing a product/service. Advertisers / Sponsors / Suppliers may request that the Chef Site uses a product/service/equipment during a demonstration or feature (Live or recorded) but this is wholly at Chef Site’s discretion. 

Advertisers / Sponsors / Suppliers may request product placement during the demonstration or feature (Live or recorded) but this is wholly at the discretion of Chef Site and the Videoed .

Where an Advertisers / Sponsors / Suppliers requests that Chef Site wears sponsored clothing during a demonstration (Live or recorded), Chef Site will endeavour to honour this.

The Interviewer (Advertisers / Sponsors / Suppliers / Chef Feature   ) gets one edit per video, and two edits per written feature all other edits are charged at £50.00 per hour. 

 Licence to use video or feature on your own website, and in any non-commercial environment (The video CAN NOT be used by any third parties to make a financial gain).

All filming for a video & written features take place on one day, unless otherwise stated

Any cancellation or rescheduling of the filming/Live event/streaming once the date has been agreed may incur cancellation fees.

 

Banner adverts

1. If The Advertiser is supplying an advert the Advertiser must deliver complete creative content to THE PUBLISHER at least 2 working days before 9am on the go-live date in a format which complies with THE PUBLISHER‘s online ad formats for such content. To cancel or alter an order The Advertiser must inform THE PUBLISHER by e-mail or fax to the number or address on the order, at least 7 days before 9am on the go-live date Otherwise, THE PUBLISHER may not be able to achieve the specified go-live date but The Advertiser must pay the full amount irrespective of whether any delivery target for impressions have been met.

2. If The Advertiser is supplying creative content or change of creative to be used in rotations, in the form of a redirected advertisement, The advertiser must inform THE PUBLISHER in advance.

3. If an Advertisement or Banner links to another site as by written agreement by Chef Site, The Advertiser is responsible for maintaining the link and for the content of the linked site. THE PUBLISHER may remove any Advertisement which contains content or links to a site which, in THE PUBLISHER opinion, is defamatory or objectionable or will bring THE PUBLISHER into disrepute, force-majeure or conflict of interests. The Advertiser will indemnify THE PUBLISHER from and against any claims or liability arising from links contained in an Advertisement.

4. Advertisements may contain only such information and code as is necessary to run the Advertisement effectively on the relevant THE PUBLISHER Site. Advertisements may not contain tags, cookies, beacons or similar technology which identifies users of any THE PUBLISHER Site or enables The advertiser or any third party to serve such Chef Site or any of its Websites users with any advertising other than the Advertisement.

5. If an Advertisement is supplied which does not comply with these terms and conditions or THE PUBLISHER receives complaint regarding an Advertisement, THE PUBLISHER may, at its discretion, remove the Advertisement from display without reference or liability to The Advertiser.

6. The advertisers sole remedy if THE PUBLISHER, or its third party subcontractors who may host and serve Advertisements from time to time, make an error in displaying any Advertisement is the cost of re-running the relevant Advertisement. Neither THE PUBLISHER nor its subcontractors shall be liable for failure to display the Advertisement caused by circumstances outside their control or by neglect.

 

Cancellation

Chef Site reserves the right to cancel any order without liability in the event of becoming aware of any meetings of creditors, bankruptcy, liquidation proceedings, the appointment of a receiver or administrative receiver over the whole or substantial part of the Advertisers / Sponsors / Suppliers assets, or any indication whatsoever of financial difficulties.

Chef Site may cancel the contract if the Advertisers / Sponsors / Suppliers fails to make payment on the due date 

Chef Site may cancel the contract if the Advertisers / Sponsors / Suppliers are in breach of any items and/or conditions contained herein (notwithstanding that on a former occasion or occasions it has waived its rights). 

Both parties shall have the right to cancel the marketing campaign without liability to the other party (except that the Advertisers / Sponsors / Suppliers shall reimburse to Chef Site any costs incurred up to the date of cancellation in production of any Marketing campaign, and additionally on a reasonable time spent basis). However, where the Marketing campaign is 12 months in duration a minimum of 6 months will be chargeable on cancellation, if cancelled within the 12 month agreed period. If a Marketing Campaign is for the 3 year quote, the full price is payable

 

Feature sponsorships are for a minimum term of 12 months. Both parties shall have the right to cancel the sponsorship  after the 12 months has expired giving four months’ notice (in writing)

Where Chef Site feels that this third party or the leaflet clause has been breached, we reserve the right to charge the client £1000 per breach.
